About Dokurapi
Dokurapi is a small set of free file tools that helps applicants get their documents under upload limits without sending those documents anywhere.
Why Dokurapi exists
Anyone who has applied for a government job, a scholarship, a university place, or a new job online knows the moment: the form is almost done, and then the portal rejects a file because it is too large. Dokurapi was built for applicants in Indonesia who keep hitting these file-size limits on registration portals, and it now also has an English version for applicants in India and elsewhere.
The goal is simple. You should be able to shrink a PDF or photo to the size the portal asks for, combine pages into one file, or prepare an ID photo, in a few taps and without creating an account.
What you can do here
Dokurapi focuses on a short list of jobs that come up again and again during applications:
- Compress PDF to 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB, or a custom target.
- Compress a photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP) to a target size in KB.
- Photo to PDF, turning 1 to 10 images into A4 pages.
- Merge PDF, combining 2 to 20 files in the order you choose.
- Check PDF size, showing the exact bytes and page count against a limit you pick.
- ID photo with a red or blue background, as an editing aid.

How we build it
Free
There is no account, no payment, and no newsletter. You open a tool and use it.
Private by design
All file processing happens inside your browser tab. Dokurapi has no upload endpoint, so the files you select are not sent to our server. The privacy policy explains this in detail.
Small and focused
Each tool does one thing and tells you honestly when a target size cannot be reached, instead of handing you a file that still will not fit.
Light enough for any phone
The tools are designed to work in the browser of entry-level Android phones, because that is the device many applicants use.
Bilingual
Every page is available in Indonesian and English. The Indonesian version lives under /id/.
An independent site
Dokurapi is an independent website. It is not affiliated with BKN, SNPMB, LPDP, or any government agency. Upload limits change between intakes and agencies, so the current instructions on the portal you are applying to are always the final authority, and Dokurapi cannot guarantee that a file will be accepted. Our guides link to official sources where possible.
