Merge PDF Files

Upload forms often provide a single slot for several documents: "attach all certificates as one PDF" or "upload supporting documents in a single file". Merging solves that. This tool joins up to 20 PDFs into one, keeps every page exactly as it was, and lets you decide the order before you download.

What merging keeps intact

Pages are copied into the new file without re-compression. That has useful consequences:

• Text in typed PDFs stays selectable and searchable.
• Image quality on scanned pages is unchanged.
• The merged size is roughly the sum of the input files, so it is easy to predict.

The downside of that last point is that merging never makes anything smaller. If the combined file is over your limit, compress it afterwards with the PDF compressor. Keep in mind that compression flattens pages into images, so do it only when the size limit requires it.

Ordering your documents

Files appear in a list in the order you selected them. Use the up and down arrows to move a file, and remove any file you added by mistake. A sensible order for an application bundle is often:

1. Cover letter or application form.
2. Highest qualification first, then earlier ones.
3. Transcripts or mark sheets, matching the order of the qualifications.
4. Experience letters, newest first.
5. Any other supporting documents the form lists.

If the form gives its own order, follow that instead. When the list looks right, merge and download dokurapi-gabung.pdf. The output size is shown on screen, and you can rename the file to something descriptive before uploading.

Files that may fail to merge

Password-protected PDFs and damaged files cannot always be read in the browser. If one of your files causes a problem, the tool shows a clear error rather than producing a broken document. Remove that file, open it in a PDF reader to check it works, and if it is protected, save an unprotected copy with the owner's permission before trying again.

Have photos rather than PDFs? Convert them first with photo to PDF, then merge the result with your other documents.

Privacy and performance

Merging happens inside the browser tab using pdf-lib, served from dokurapi.com. Your files are never uploaded, and their names and contents are not sent anywhere. There is no account and no daily cap set by the site. Merging 20 large scans uses device memory, so on an older phone it may be quicker to merge in two smaller batches. Whatever you submit, the receiving portal's current instruction is the final authority on file count, size and format.
